Histories – Personal, Church, School, Local and County

Histories can serve to provide background information about people and communities.  This is secondary information but often is the only record that is available. Check Library and Archives of Canada, local history rooms and county archives as well as church and school archives. Many early Ontario histories are found on microfiche in as part of the Canadian Institutes for Historical Microreproductions collection. The majority of these are found in university libraries but titles can be found in online databases.
