Name: Joni Marie Labbé

I Have: had the benefit of growing up in a great family and wonderful community.

Biggest Challenge: To take every challenge and make it an accomplishment.

Few people have any idea: of how great it is to live in a country and be able to fish, hunt and enjoy the outdoors so close to home.

My Motivation: my family and close friends, they won’t let me give up OR slow down!

I've been to: Edmonton, Ottawa and Boston, but my favourite place to go is CAMP!

Best Moment: I have so many, but my next will be when I graduate this April from Sault College.

Thanks to: my mother for all of the wonderful things she has done to support me!

I want to: help the Métis youth become educated and proud of our culture.

I believe: that every person needs someone to count on.

I am Métis and proud of it!
