Name: Amber Lynne Griffiths, Region One Youth Rep

I Have:  A healthy family, Excellent opportunities, Drive and Dreams

Biggest Challenge: To be an individual in a people reliant community

Few people have any idea: How much life really has to offer, Travel, do the things you enjoy,  and don’t let anyone slow  you down.

My Motivation: My Daughter, she is my driving force, I want to make MNO a strong resource for her and for all the other future Canadians.  I want her to stand tall and say I am a Proud Canadian Métis! Everything I do is for her.

I've been to: Florida to see Mickey and the gang, British Columbia for family ski trips, Toronto to pick up my sister and for Métis Youth Conferences (22hr drive from home), Dawson City, Yukon at 16yrs old Gourmet mushroom picking.  All over B.C. including Queen Charlotte Islands, and Alberta at 17-19yrs old Gourmet mushroom picking and St. Jo, Kansas City and Springfield Missouri visiting with Family.

Best Moment:  The blessing of becoming a mother, and spending time in the mountains.

Thanks to: My parents, my family and for everybody who has believed in me.

I want to: Help other Métis youth realize their potential in their community, region, Country and to themselves.

I believe: That we all have a voice

I am Metis
I am Proud!
