MNO Harvesting Agreement legally binding on Government of Ontario
(June 12/07) - The Ontario Court of Justice has ruled that the historic harvesting agreement entered into by the Métis Nation of Ontario and the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources is legally binding on the Government of Ontario.

R v. Kelley
A win for Mr. Kipp Kelley and the Metis Nation of Alberta and Métis Harvesting Rights! Judge Verville overturned Mr. Kelley's conviction based on the Interim Metis Harvesting Agreement that was signed by the province of Alberta and the Metis Nation of Alberta in September 2004.
