Make our KOA campground your headquarters to experience the natural beauty of nearby Lake Superior and the region's attractions. Go rock hounding at open-pit amethyst mines. Explore 130-foot Kakabeka Falls and Ouimet Canyon. Relive area history at Fort William Historical Park, a re-created 1815 trading post complete with costumed natives, trappers and traders, and at the Centennial Park 1910 Logging Camp. KOA's 90 acres of spruce, birch and poplar shimmer with color in autumn. Our campsites are tucked in the trees and in wide-open sunshine. We have camping cabins & *NEW* lodges available as well! Families enjoy the driving range, mini-golf, heated pool, bike rentals and catch-and-release trout pond. Hayrides, ice cream socials and other planned activities add to the fun in season. We have well-kept, spacious, grassy sites with most having greenery providing privacy from your neighbours. Our campground is situated well back from the highway, alleviating the traffic noise. Some sites are in the open, allowing you to set up your satellite dish and Wifi is available as well. After a long drive enjoy the ease of slipping into one of our level, pull-thru sites. We have full-hook-up sites which have water, sewer, and electricity with 15, 30 or 50 amps. Also available are electric-only sites and basic tent sites, as well as our BRAND NEW Camping Cabins . We have clean showers and flush toilets as well as a laundromat. While you are catching up on the laundry, the kids can amuse themselves at our playground which has a few new additions.

After you are settled in, relax in our large, clean, heated pool and hot tub, or browse in our gift shop/tourist information office. We have a very large selection of Thunder Bay and Kakabeka Falls souvenirs, Amethyst jewelry and gift items, t-shirts, sweat shirts, moccasins, limited groceries and other items too numerous to mention.
