On October 2-3, 2017, Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) Veterans’ Council Senator Guy Mandeville C.D. made presentations at the Waterloo Region Museum to over 900 students about Métis involvement in World War I (WWI).

The workshops Senator Mandeville provided were for grade 10 students from several Kitchener and Waterloo high schools and he spoke to approximately 16-25 students in each workshop.

It was a great opportunity for the MNO Veterans’ Council to meet and educate the youth about what Métis contributed to Canada’s WWI effort.
