Mitch Case has been a strong representative for Ontario’s Métis youth for the past eight years, serving as Youth Representative on the Provisional Council of the Métis Nation of Ontario. Mitch was recently invited by Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations Carolyn Bennett to participate in the 2019 United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues in New York City. As part of the Canadian delegation, Mitch had the opportunity to voice the concerns of Ontario’s Métis youth to delegates representing indigenous nations from around the world.

CTV Northern Ontario News recently featured a story about Mitch’s appearance at the UN. Click this link to view the story.
