- Programs and Services
The Program works to improve the future of Métis youth through activities aimed at keeping them in school and facilitating their transition from school to work. The Program provides opportunities for students to participate in after school activities and build self-esteem by removing barriers to participating in cultural, academic, and school related recreational activities as well as career exploration.
Projects that are part of the Program provide opportunities for Indigenous youth to grow and build self-esteem and self awareness which includes cultural awareness. Through the Program financial support will be provided to remove barriers to participation. This includes covering the costs of transportation in the form of bus tickets and transit passes and day care costs that are tied to attendance.
