Gambling can be fun and entertaining - just be smart about it!

The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) is pleased to offer the Gaming and Gambling Prevention Program. This Program provides support and resources through the MNO’s Healing and Wellness Branch in the areas of problem gaming and gambling. The Program is funded by the province of Ontario through the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. We strive to provide up-to-date information about gambling and gambling related issues to all Métis that will assist them in making healthy choices. Information is available through the coordination and distribution of gambling related print materials, online resources, and during community workshops hosted annually by our Healing and Wellness staff across the province.

For more information on problem gambling prevention, upcoming events, or to request print materials or DVD’s please contact the MNO’s Provincial Coordinator Loma Rowlinson at
