Be a Part of the 2012-13 Generation Innovation Challenge
Through funding received from the Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation Youth Entrepreneurship Partnership Program and corporate partners, the Métis Nation of Ontario will provide Métis youth from across Ontario, with the opportunity to develop entrepreneurial skills in the areas of business planning, budgeting, market analysis and marketing, by providing them with professional training and connecting them with business mentors.
Selected participants will be provided with on-line entrepreneurship training from the GoForth Institute and will develop a business plan. Judges will review the business plans and select up to 10 semi-finalists to receive additional hands on training to strengthen their business plan. The semi-finalists will have an opportunity to resubmit their business plans for review after which 5 finalists will be chosen to attend a Skills summit where they will be taught the art of the pitch before moving on to the final round where they will participate in a “Dragon’s Den” like session with notable judges and compete for prizes!
