Economic Development Overview
Métis Nation of Ontario Economic Development (MNOED)
initiative was established to assist Métis communities
across the province in developing economic self-sufficiency.
Aboriginal Business Service Network
The
Aboriginal Business Service Network (ABSN) was implemented
to help bridge the gap between business information and resources
for the Aboriginal client. The ABSN provides timely relevant
business information to Aboriginal clients who access the
site via the Internet, telephone, fax or walk-in.
The Aboriginal Business Service Network is sponsored by the
Canada Ontario Business Service Centre (COBSC) and the Federal
Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario (FedNor).
ABSN Services:
- Information or guidance concerning business planning and operations
by qualified coordinators/advisors;
- On-line access to information and data services provided by the
COBSC;
- Access to a comprehensive library of business publications, resources
and directories
