Brad Lafortune Brad Lafortune

Hi! My name is Brad Lafortune and I'm one of the Infinite Reach facilitators at the University of Ottawa. I'm currently in my first year of my MA in physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa and did my BA in Biology and Spanish here as well. I'm extremely proud of my Métis culture and heritage and can't wait to meet all the new and returning Métis students at the University of Ottawa at one of our many events throughout the year! If you're a Métis student, I'd love to chat and help you in whichever way I can! Just send me an email at infiniteottawau@gmail.com!

My name is Matthew Lafreniere and I am one of the Infinite Reach Facilitators for the University of Ottawa. I am from Penetanguishene, Ontario and I pursued my undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the University of Western Ontario. I am currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Chemistry at the University of Ottawa. My goals this year are: to promote Métis culture and history through high school outreach; encourage and facilitate social events with Métis and non-Métis students; and to outreach to professional aboriginal students in order to establish a network of Métis professional students. I am very excited to be part of the Métis Nation of Ontario’s Facilitator network. If you wish to contact with me, you may email me at: mlafreniere87@gmail.com.
