The Metis Nation of Ontario Education and Training Branch has built upon its’ successful labour market programming to establish additional education and training opportunities through Labour Market Projects (LMP). Over the last three years MNO has successfully delivered Labour Market Projects in Apprenticeships, Tourism and Hospitality, Energy, Housing and Mining. Labour Market Projects provide the MNO with the opportunity to provide focused training in specific areas and sectors where employment opportunities are available or will be available in the near future.

These Labour Market Projects provide additional opportunities for Metis people to gain skills, education and training that will enable them to obtain employment in a variety of sectors.

Opportunities to offer additional Labour Market Projects are continually explored, investigated and evaluated to ensure the success of projects.
