Much like the gold rush in the past, the career rush has begun! With new innovations, technology and growth; careers in mining are exciting and prosperous.

The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) Métis Mining Strategy provides support for short-term education, training and work placements for Aboriginal students who are interested in panning for a career in mining.

The MNO has opportunities for wage subsidies for a 12 week work placement with mining companies. Partnerships with mining companies and subcontractors are also available.
