The
health career training and support program is to assist and
encourage Métis students to gain the necessary prerequisites
to enter into health careers and to support those Métis
health professionals working in health careers that provide
services to Métis people to continue and/or enhance their
education. Funding can be awarded to a maximum of $3000. If
you have financial need over and above the maximum amounts allowed
under this program you are allowed to apply under the Busary
Program as well.

health career program (as per list of eligible professions)

Education for health professionals and paraprofessionals
employed in the health care field either full-time or part-time
(courses must be a duration of 4-6 months)

be Resident of Ontario for at least one year

be enrolled or accepted (pending application) into a health-related
preparatory program
