The Metis Nation of Ontario Health Branch facilitates and coordinates effective activities to address the holistic needs of the Métis Nation in Ontario at the provincial, regional and local levels.

Aboriginal health is wholistic, and includes the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and cultural aspects of life.

Through this understanding of self, a vision of wellness which balances body, mind and spirit is promoted throughout the healing continuum.

Committed partnerships between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people and governments will recognize and respect the diversities in lifestyles and traditions of Aboriginal people regardless of residency and status.
