Metis Canoe Expedition presents living history and skill building summer programs

October, 2007 -- Métis Nation of Ontario Youth announcement



This summer, Metis youth will be travelling throughout Ontario from May 17th, 2008 to August 22nd, 2008 delivering interpretation and skill building programs, facilitating literacy initiatives and educating both Metis and non-Metis people in the history of the Fur Trade and the Culture and History of the Metis people in Canada.

These programs will be visiting special events and communities across the province. If you are interested in hosting the program at your own event or in your community please contact Chris McLeod. A complete listing of the events the summer program will be visiting will be posted shorty. We will try our best to accomodate all requests but due to travel constraints and other events we may not be able to accomodate every request.
