I remember Harry W. Daniels at his fighting best in those days we worked together in the 60's in Alberta and then in the 70's and early 80's during the heady days of the Native Council of Canada. This Canadian Press photo was taken during a news conference we held in Ottawa on December 17, 1971 to demand assistance to fight racial discrimination against the Métis. At the time, Harry was Vice-President of the Métis Association of Alberta and I was President of the Native Council of Canada. Photo submitted by Tony Belcourt
