Annual General Assembly
Each year citizens of the Metis Nation of Ontario gather for the Annual General Assembly somewhere in Ontario. We gather together to conduct business, mandates to the executive, hear annual reports from various MNO departments, but most of all, gather together for five days and enjoy our time together. Métis Community Harvest
From Kenora to the French River, hundreds of Métis across Ontario gathered to celebrate the culture and exercise their traditional rights. The Gatherings are the culmination of the 10-day Annual Métis Community Harvest. More info here
Riel Day - November 16th
On November 16th each year, the Métis Nation hosts commemorative ceremonies at locations throughout Ontario and western Canada to honour Riel's contributions to Canada and to his people, the Métis. More here

Volunteer of the Year Award
The Suzanne Rochon-Burnett Volunteer of the Year award was created to honor all volunteers in the Métis Nation through the display of panels listing volunteers at the Annual General Assembly each year and on plaques on display at Métis Nation of Ontario Head Office. One volunteer per year will be selected by a group of panelists and named at the Annual General Assembly. Find out more
