Starting  Salary: $43,350- 49,850 per year based on past experience

The Role: 

The MHA Coordinator supports the Program/Branch Management Team with operational processes required for effectiveness and efficiency. This position will aid in some phone contact with clients (sending referral information) and working with the team on efficiencies in scheduling, data and administration activities.  The Coordinator is required to create and use basic Excel spreadsheets to manage/report data, processes purchase orders, coordinates meetings and logistics, manages information flow between Programs, coordinates travel, and other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Nimbly respond to internal and external information requests (phone calls, e-mails, etc.) in relation to the program (highest priority)
  • Assist Program’s Scheduling and Quality Assurance Coordinator and Project Coordinator with administrative duties – scheduling, procurement processes, data
  • Manage data (including data entry) that is related to the program’s program evaluation, financial and/or budget related items
  • Supporting the Mental Health and Addictions and Justice team for administrative tasks (ie. Scheduling team meetings, travel, purchase orders, etc.)
  • Coordinate the processing of financial, administrative procedures (i.e. purchase orders, expense claims, bill back submissions and purchase card reconciliation)
  • Plan and coordinate onsite and offsite meetings, special functions and events for both internal and external partners
  • Balance conflicting priorities to manage workflow, and ensure the completion of essential projects within required timelines
  • Research information for the designated team members as requested
  • Attend meetings/training with the designated team members when required
  • Assist with coordination of the MNO office facilities (ie. liaising with the landlords to coordinate office maintenance and repair requests as required)
  • Collaborate with the branch team members to improve branch efficiencies and strengthen operations

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting vulnerable client groups with a high degree of sensitivity

All positions at the MNO may require the following:

  1. Current CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
  2. Completion and maintenance of Vulnerable Sector Verification
  3. A reliable vehicle (or ability to rent), driver’s license, $1,000,000 liability insurance, and a clean driving record
  4. Flexibility to work extended hours as necessary
  5. Ability to occasionally travel within Ontario for limited periods of time
