….so you can attend a Cultural Competency Workshop hosted by the Métis Nation of Ontario in partnership with the Algoma Council of Domestic Violence and the Indian Friendship Centre. This FREE workshop, geared towards service providers, will use traditional methods, experiential teachings and sharing circles to provide information on the historical impacts that colonization and assimilation has had on the First Nation, Métis and Inuit (FNMI) populations and showcase various Métis approaches to healing through interactive cultural activities.
