Here’s the date that you have been waiting for…so that you can attend the Métis Cultural Competency Workshop hosted by the Métis Nation of Ontario in partnership with the Algoma Council on Domestic Violence!
This FREE workshop, geared towards service providers, will use traditional methods, experiential teachings and sharing circles to provide information on the historical impacts that colonization and assimilation has had on the Métis population and showcase various Métis approaches to healing through interactive cultural activities.
Featuring: complimentary breakfast, lunch and snacks with special guest facilitators, interactive activities, a beading workshop, display tables and door prizes.
