MNO Thames Bluewater Métis Council presents:
Métis Festival and Indigenous Garden Opening
May 19, 2018 at South Branch Park.
Garden opening/planting: 11:00 am – 1:30 pm
Métis Festival: 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Outdoor movie: 8:30 pm
Featuring Métis culture workshops and artifacts, wilderness workshop, Elder story telling, Indigenous book display, Museum of Archeology display. Fanshawe Child and youth workers will host crafts and oversize children’s games, including connect four, snakes and ladders, dominos, sack races and more.
The outdoor movie is Shana: The wolf’s music.
