Attention Region 2 MNO citizens! Tomorrow February 25th the Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) will be hosting a Community Information Session with Environment and Climate Change Canada and Transport Canada to provide an update on the Thunder Bay North Harbour contaminated sediment remediation project. Dinner will be provided and the Meeting will start at 6 PM. The event will be held at the Canot du Nord Room at the Fort William Historical Park in Thunder Bay, Ontario. The meeting will be an opportunity for MNO citizens to learn about recent investigations at the Thunder Bay North Harbour contaminated sediment site and to provide input, knowledge, and advice on the management options under review since 2018. The session will include a presentation from Environment and Climate Change Canada and Transport Canada officials and will serve as an opportunity for a community discussion during which any questions and concerns may be voiced.
