Candidate for Regional Councilor, Region 2
Hello, my name is Brian Prairie and I am running for the position of Region 2 Councillor for the Métis Nation of Ontario.
I am running on a philosophy of honesty, integrity, transparency and equal access for all Métis in this region.
It is my belief that cultural preservation and transmission is of the utmost importance to the Métis community, families and future generations. I wish to ensure accessibility of appropriate educational and cultural resources to all of my constituents. To ensure this, I will guarantee an open line of communication and pledge to do my best to make information, clear, consistent and readily available. It is my intent to give all Métis citizens in my region a voice and to make certain it will be heard.
When we come together as a community and strive to share and better communicate we are more supportive, stronger and better.
