May 6, 2024 is election day for the Provisional Council of the Métis Nation of Ontario (PCMNO), MNO Youth Council (MNOYC), and the MNO Veterans Council (MNOVC).
Below are a number of important dates and deadlines related to these elections.
NOTE: Some of the dates below may be different than those outlined in MNO’s Electoral Codes and Policy documents. The dates below that will be enforced in these election, set based on the authority of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO).

On or before February 1, 2024 | Preliminary Lists of Electors posted by Community Council Presidents in council offices |
On or before February 9, 2024 | Nomination information will be posted on the MNO website and in each MNO office |
On or before February 29, 2024 | Revised Lists of Electors posted by Community Council Presidents in council offices |
Friday, February 23 | Last day citizens can update their contact information with MNO Registry to ensure they will be included in the mailing and email being sent to all electors with voting information |
Last week of February | Mailing to electors delivered to Canada Post |
March 11, 2024, 5:00pm in the time zone of the candidate
