Out of concern for the safety and wellbeing of Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) citizens, families and communities during the COVID-19 pandemic, on April 27, 2020 the Provisional Council of the Métis Nation of Ontario (PCMNO) passed a resolution to postpone the 2020 Annual General Assembly (AGA).
The resolution takes into consideration the advice of public health officials who maintain that social distancing efforts are likely to remain in effect throughout the coming months and into the summer. The 2020 AGA, scheduled to take place during the third week of August in Toronto will therefore be postponed, but not cancelled. More details will be provided as it becomes available.
