Announcement of Candidates and Acclamations for 2024 PCMNO election
We would like to inform you that the close of nominations for the 2024 Provisional Council of the Métis Nation of Ontario (PCMNO) election was on March 11, 2024, at 5 PM, in the respective time zones of the candidates.
The Chief Electoral Officer has diligently reviewed the nominations and compiled a list of candidates and acclamations. We are pleased to announce that the details regarding the candidates and acclamations have been officially posted on the the MNO Website here. Additionally, this information is accessible on the OneFeather website.
Please note that information and biographies of the candidates may be added to the MNO website at the candidates’ discretion. To check if there is information on a candidate, please refer to the MNO webpage. It’s important to note that adding a biography is not mandatory.
We are excited to share that online and telephone voting will commence on April 8, 2024, starting at 8:30 AM Eastern Time. The voting period will remain open until May 6, 2024, 6:00 PM Eastern Time.
