On May 14, Métis crafter, Jeanette Brunelle, led a workshop on traditional Métis beading at the Midland office of the Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO). The workshop was held as part of a “Barriers to Wellness and Stress Relief” program offered through the MNO Community Wellness Worker program. The Midland MNO office has hosted monthly beading sessions for the last few years but several new participants joined the workshop this May.
