“My People will sleep for 100 years, but when they awake it will be the artists who give them their Spirit back” – Louis Riel
Every year on November 16th, MNO Citizens celebrate Métis culture, recognize the many contributions of the Métis to Canada, and mark the challenges and growth experienced by our People. This is an excellent opportunity for Métis families to continue to gather and be together in the important ways which we are accustomed to.
On Wednesday November 16, 2022 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. (Eastern Time) via Zoom we are hosting a virtual Louis Riel Day Pancake Dinner. This is a wonderful opportunity to log in and share your favourite MNO memories, chat with your Métis family and friends and enjoy the opportunity to share a meal together once again.
The first 500 households to register will be eligible to receive, via mail, the basic ingredients for your pancake dinner as well as some commemorative souvenirs to mark this occasion. When signing up, please note that only one email address per household can be used.
Please register by Friday October 28, 2022 as supplies are limited. To sign up for this virtual gathering and receive your Louis Riel Day Pancake Breakfast Kit please use the link below. Upon registration you will receive a new link to join the celebration on November 16th.
