As of September 15th, 2021 the MNO Early Learning Christmas Gift Program has reached its program capacity. We will no longer be accepting any new applications at this point. Thank you for your understanding.

Following its success in last year, the Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) is excited to bring back the Métis Early Learning Christmas Gift Program for 2021! In order to allow sufficient time for purchasing, wrapping, and shipping gifts, the application process for this program will open on Friday, September, 3 at 9:00 AM (ET).

All Métis families are welcome to submit ONE application per family if they meet the following criteria:

  • One Parent, Legal Guardian, or Child must be a Métis Nation of Ontario Citizen and must reside in Ontario
  • Proof of Métis Nation of Ontario citizenship will be required when completing the application.
  • Have at least one child between the ages of 0-12 years
  • Proof of age will be required when completing the application. Only ONE of the following is needed: MNO Citizenship card, birth certificate, or passport.
  • Applicant must reside at the same address as the child(ren) for whom they are applying.

The successful applicants will receive a pre-wrapped, developmentally appropriate gift for their early learner(s) in a chosen area of interest or we can choose for you. There will also be an option for your little one(s) to receive a letter from Santa! If you indicate “yes” on the application, a Santa letter will be included with the wrapped present. Applications will be accepted until October 1, 2021 at 4:30pm or until the maximum registration number has been reached.
