A limited amount of funding has been secured to bring together Métis youth to discuss existing barriers to participation in the economy and to work towards the development of a Métis youth employment and engagement strategy.
This is call for youth to submit a letter of interest to attend the “Aspire to our highest potential” think tank discussion on March 16, 2013, in Toronto, ON. All travel and expenses will be covered by The Métis Nation of Ontario.
We are requesting all Métis youth interested submit a letter of interest (click here to download template). This is a great opportunity for Métis youth to provide their contributions toward the development of a Métis Youth engagement action plan.
Due to specific funding and engagement requirements Youth must be between the ages of 18 and 29 years. There will be opportunities to engage Métis youth that do not meet this age requirement in future discussions.
The deadline letter of interest submissions is Thursday March 7, 2013 and they should be sent to guylainem@metisnation.org
Successful candidates will be notified by Monday, March 11, 2013.
