Education Advocacy Workshop: Partnering with schools for student success
Report card season is approaching! GULP. But have no fear because our upcoming workshop will include info on how Métis parents can support and advocate for their children ages 0-12.
We will review the language used in report cards and assessments, how to position yourself before the report card, questions to ask during parent/teachers interviews, and follow-up if you disagree with aspects of the assessment. We will also discuss how report cards will differ if your child is on an IEP (Individual Education Plan).
