The First Nation, Inuit, Métis Urban and Rural (FIMUR) Housing Program provides a range of housing supports for Métis, First Nation, and Inuit people across the province (outside of the GTA).

FIMUR Assisted Home Ownership provides eligible Indigenous individuals and families with a forgivable loan of up to $30,000 to assist with the purchase of a home.

FIMUR Home Repair provides eligible Indigenous individuals and families with a forgivable loan of up to $25,000 to assist in repairing or modifying their home.

Ontario Aboriginal Housing Services (OAHS) administers the program and will be hosting information sessions across the province. Those interested are strongly encouraged to monitor OAHS’ website for session details.
