The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC) team is excited to announce the launch of our Early Learning and Child Care S.T.E.M Kit. The kit has been developed to help Métis children engage in activities in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The Early Learning STEM kit focuses on hands-on learning with real-world applications, to help children develop a variety of skill sets, including creativity, exploration and problem solving.

A STEM resource guide is included within each STEM kit, to connect each activity to Métis culture and way of life, and to encourage further exploration of activities. The goal of the STEM kit is to encourage children to engage in each activity, while learning and gaining a better understanding of their Métis culture and way of life.

All Métis families are welcome to submit ONE application per family if they meet the following criteria:
• One Parent, Legal Guardian, or Child must be a Métis Nation of Ontario Citizen and must reside in Ontario.
