The Midland Métis Motivators prior to the MS Walk in Midland
The twelve members of the Midland Métis Motivators raised funded over $400 for the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society at a MS Walk held April 22nd in Midland. The team’s participation was part of the Métis Nation of Ontario Community Support Program in Midland this year. The Midland Metis Motivators wore shirts with “Métis Making Moves” printed on the back. In the morning of the Walk, photos were taken and warm up exercises we performed before heading out for the five kilometre walk. The majority of the group tromped off with full steam making it back to the starting point in approximately an hour (way to go guys!). It was a wonderful day, and a big thank you goes out to everyone.
