The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) Historic Sault Ste. Marie Métis Council, in partnership with Algoma University, participated in the 11th Annual Gathering at the Rapids Powwow. The Powwow was held at Algoma University on March 5-6, 2016, and was a very exciting and culturally meaningful event. An Eagle Staff, which can be viewed here, was made for the council for the occasion of this Powwow.
