The new Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) office in Peterborough was officially opened on June 3, 2017. The office will serve as the headquarters of the MNO Peterborough and District Wapiti Métis Council (PDWMC) and the new MNO Métis Family Wellbeing program.
The event was hosted by MNO Family Wellbeing Program Coordinator Brittany MacLeod with the help from fellow MNO staff members. MNO citizens were also in attendance for the exciting grand opening.
The MNO staff is happy to have a new office in Peterborough and are pleased that citizens and members of the community can now have access to the services provided by the MNO Métis Family Wellbeing Program. The MNO PDWMC and community members expressed that the location is perfect and will help with their outreach and visibility to the community.
