The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) is excited to be hosting our the very first Post-Secondary Education Student Resiliency Gathering on March 12 and 13, 2022.

This event seeks to equip all current and aspiring Post-secondary education students with the knowledge and confidence to respond to situations involving precarious housing, domestic abuse, and any potential legal issues while also highlighting the resilience of Métis people.

We are also very excited that Métis National Council President Cassidy Caron will be delivering an address speaking to her experiences as a Métis Post-Secondary student.

This event will feature workshops and presentations from:

      • MNO Victims Services
      • Rent Smart
      • Aboriginal Legal Services
      • Keynote Address by MNC President Cassidy Caron
      • Cultural Activities demonstrating Métis resilience
      • Peer-to-Peer sharing

All registrants will also receive a Gathering kit.
