MNO veteran celebrates his 102nd birthday
MNO veteran Alexander Sandy Boucher.

World War II veteran and Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) citizen Alexander Sandy Boucher celebrated his 102nd birthday this past January making him the oldest Métis veteran in Ontario. Alex registered with the MNO Veterans’ Council (VC) in 2013.

Alex attended his first Annual General Assembly in Ottawa in 2013. This was also his first time in Ottawa and his first time visiting the National cenotaph, the Aboriginal Veterans monument and the Canadian War Museum.

The MNO VC is honoured to have Alex as a member in good standing and wish him the very best and a very happy birthday!
