ODRMC Alexandra’s Bounty Community Garden Seeking Green Thumbed Volunteers
Do you have a green thumb and an interest in serving your community? Sign up today and be a part of Oshawa & Durham Region Metis Council (ODRMC) Community Garden located at Alexandra’s Bounty 368 Simcoe St N, Oshawa! The ODRMC is seeking green-thumbed volunteers to help tend the garden, and connect with the land and community.
The growing season runs May to October. Volunteers will start May 1st and clean up the garden as we prepare for the planting and growing season.
All gardeners, from beginners to experts, are encouraged to join in growing organic food for the local community. Students and groups are also welcome and volunteer hours are tracked and given.
A Zoom Meeting will be set up for all registered April 18th, at 12:15 pm. A link will be sent closer to the date once registered.
