The devastating discovery at the former Marieval Indian Residential School is a painful reminder of the unnecessary and cruel losses Indigenous communities have sustained, and how far we have yet to go to reach true and meaningful reconciliation. Today, our hearts are with the Cowessess First Nation, the loved ones and families of the 751 souls who tragically lost their lives in this horrific injustice.
