Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) President Gary Lipinski had the opportunity to meet with the Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario when she visited Fort Frances on Wednesday, August 26.
President Lipinski, along with Fort Frances city councillors and several First Nations chiefs met with Lieutenant Governor Dowdeswell during a tour of the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre. President Lipinski had the opportunity to speak with her Honour about the important historic role that Métis played in Northwest Ontario as well as the MNO’s growing role in helping build prosperity in the region.
