“We, the Métis are a people of the lands, which gave rise to our history and tradition and culture.” – MNO Statement of Prime Purpose

We face complex challenges pertaining to the health of our planet, particularly regarding climate change. The Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) citizens can play an important role in addressing climate change, so that future generations, and the lands they will inherit, can thrive.

All MNO citizens are invited to attend a virtual Climate Change Forum on November 5, 2022, from 1:00 to 5:00PM. This second Forum will be held virtually over Zoom and include presentations, an enviro-trivia contest, door prizes and, importantly, MNO Citizens will be able to provide feedback about their climate change concerns, helping to provide direction that will help MNO better advocate for its citizens.

The forum will discuss climate change as a whole with a focus on Métis Climate Change Action. Participants are welcome to join for part of the event if previous commitments make joining for the whole event not feasible.

If you are interested in attending the event, we ask that you register using the link below to ensure that everyone is eligible for the door prizes and can participate in the trivia.

If you have any questions please reach out to Cassidy Press at cassidyp@metisnation.org.
