Special Tea Visiting Series will engage youth in subject of self-government

As the Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) advances towards its goal of true self-government, we know that youth engagement is key. Representing a core demographic, Métis youth bring a unique insight and energy to discussions, as witnessed by the success of the MNO’s ongoing Tea Series program.

The MNO is excited to share that a special Tea Visiting Series will roll out this November with a focus on Métis Self-Government. The sessions will be extended to 1.5 hours to ensure optimal discussions on core concepts like the Métis Government Recognition and Self-Government Agreement (MGRSA), a Métis Constitution, and the role of youth in building self-government.

Co-host MNO President Margaret Froh will be joined members of the MNO Self-Government Negotiations Committee, including Mitch Case, Hannah Bazinet and Jordyn Playne.

All Métis youth interested in influencing the future of the Métis Nation of Ontario are encouraged to register for this special Tea Visiting Series.

We hope to see you at the inaugural session on:
