Statement on the attack on Ukraine

The Métis Nation of Ontario President Margaret Froh issued the following statement on the attack on Ukraine:

“The Métis Nation of Ontario joins the many international governments, organizations and individuals who have condemned the attack on Ukraine and its civilians. The violence being perpetuated against the people of Ukraine, and the many brave civilians in Russia who are protesting this illegal act, must stop immediately. We stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine and their valiant fight to protect their sovereignty.”
