Technology is a vital tool in our day-to-day lives – and it’s constantly evolving. Children are being introduced to technology at younger ages and they have become incredibly versatile when it comes to navigating it. Families today are faced with a unique set of challenges when it comes to managing technology use. From cyberbullying to online sharing and internet safety, it’s important for educators, parents/caregivers and frontline workers to become aware of these issues and the impacts that excessive technology use can have.
This education series is designed to deepen your knowledge of gaming, gambling and technology use, dispel some myths, and provide practical tools. The MNO Gaming and Gambling Awareness Program is proud to offer a monthly 4-part guest speaker series about parenting in the digital age. There is a Gift card draw at the end of each session for those attending!
