Thames Bluewater Métis Council partners with Water Rangers in new video

Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) communities are committed to the environmental stewardship, particularly of the lakes and waterways that sustain our way-of-life.

The Thames Bluewater Métis Council (TBWMC) recently partnered with Water Rangers, a not-for-profit organization that focuses on empowering communities to know the health of their local water bodies and waterways.

Water Rangers were on hand at the TBWMC Métis Rendezvous on June 18, 2022 held at the Pinery Provincial Park, where, along the shores of Lake Huron, they presented to Métis families the importance of monitoring the health of water.

The TBWMC has incorporated Water Rangers’ tools in their ongoing work to preserve the distinct culture and way-of-life of the Métis in Ontario.
