All Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) citizens are welcome to observe business meetings of the Provisional Council of the Métis Nation of Ontario (PCMNO). The next PCMNO meeting is taking place Monday June 27, 2022, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Eastern Time. A draft agenda is available here.
Advance registration: MNO citizens that wish to observe the meetings, please register before Sunday, June 26, 2022, at 8:00 PM Eastern Time. (PCMNO members are not required to register for this meeting – they will be automatically registered as panellists.)
As the citizenship of every participant is confirmed before sending a personalized links, late registrations may not be able to be accommodated. Please register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
After your registration has been verified, you will receive a confirmation email containing a personalized link to join the webinar. A reminder email will also be sent to you one hour before the meeting starts.
Special Considerations: When you receive your personalized link, please do not share it with others. It is created unique to your registration, and only one login per person is possible. Logins from multiple devices could result in you being removed from the meeting.
The Zoom gallery will open for citizens, as observers, at 5:55 PM eastern time. The PCMNO meeting will commence at 5:00 PM eastern time.
In-Camera: There may be times during the meeting when business is conducted “in camera” to discuss confidential items e.g. sensitive legal or employment matters. If it is determined that the meeting will go “in camera,” citizen observers will be required to leave the meeting while the PCMNO is in-camera. MNO support staff will email all citizen observers to inform them when they can re-join the session.
The PCMNO encourages all MNO citizens to attend and observe its meetings! As this is not a town hall, the Q&A and chat features will not be available for citizen observers, and advance questions will not be entertained. Thank you for your understanding related to the points above.
