Meeting of the Provisional Council of the Métis Nation of Ontario (PCMNO)
Thursday, March 30, 2023 • 9:00AM – 4:30PM EST
Friday, March 31, 2023 • 9:00AM – 4:30PM EST
Draft Agenda
All Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) citizens are welcome to observe business meetings of the Provisional Council of the Métis Nation of Ontario (PCMNO). The next PCMNO meeting will be held on March 30 from 9:00AM – 4:30PM and March 31 from 9:00AM – 4:30PM (all times Eastern Standard). A draft agenda will be available on the MNO’s website before the meeting.
MNO Citizen observers must register in advance and late registration cannot be accommodated. Please register now to avoid disappointment.
The registration deadline is Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 9:00 AM (EST). Attendees will be given the option to attend one or both meeting days in the registration process. One unique link will be provided per attendee that can be used for one or both meeting days.
After your registration is verified, you will receive a confirmation email containing a personalized link to join the meeting webinar. A reminder email will also be sent to you one hour before the meeting starts.
Special Considerations: When you receive your personalized link, please do not share it with others. It is created unique to your registration, and only one login per person is possible. Logins from multiple devices could result in you being removed from the meeting.
The Zoom gallery will open for citizens, as observers, at 8:55 AM on the day of the meeting. The PCMNO meeting will commence at 9:00 AM.
In-Camera: There may be times during the meeting when business is conducted “in camera” to discuss confidential items (e.g. sensitive legal or employment matters). If it is determined that the meeting will go “in camera,” citizen observers will be required to leave the meeting while the PCMNO is in-camera. MNO support staff will email all citizen observers to inform them when they can rejoin the session.
The PCMNO encourages all MNO citizens to attend and observe its meetings. As this is not a town hall, please know that the Q&A and chat features will not be available, and advance questions will not be entertained. We appreciate your understanding related to the points above.
For Zoom technical support during the meeting contact Tara at TaraL@metisnation.org (call 416-518-5894) or Jessica at JessicaM@metisnation.org.
